1. What Bounce Is
Bounce is an online ticketing platform that connects event creators (organisers), promoters and attendees. We provide the tools — you use them to create, promote, buy and manage event tickets.
When we say "we", "us" or "Bounce", we mean the company behind this platform. When we say "you", we mean anyone using Bounce — whether you're buying a ticket, hosting an event, or promoting one.
2. Accounts
- You need an account to use most features. You can sign up with your email or Google.
- Keep your login details safe. You're responsible for anything that happens under your account.
- One person, one account. Don't create multiple accounts.
- We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
3. Buying Tickets
- When you buy a ticket, you're entering into a transaction with the event organiser — not with Bounce. We facilitate the payment, but the event is their responsibility.
- Ticket prices are set by the organiser. Bounce adds a small platform fee and payment processing fee on top, which are shown before you pay.
- Once you've bought a ticket, it appears in your wallet with a unique QR code. That's your entry pass — don't share it.
- Tickets are non-transferable unless the organiser says otherwise.
4. Refunds
- Refund policies are set by the event organiser and shown on the event page.
- You can request a refund through Bounce, and the organiser decides whether to approve it.
- If an event is cancelled by the organiser, you'll get a full automatic refund. This typically takes 5–10 business days to reach your account.
- Bounce is not liable for events that are disappointing, poorly run, or different from what was advertised. Take that up with the organiser.
5. Hosting Events
- Anyone with a Bounce account can create a host profile and list events.
- You're responsible for your event — the content, accuracy of details, and actually running it.
- Don't list events that are illegal, fraudulent, misleading, or harmful.
- Ticket revenue (minus fees) is held for 14 days after the event before being paid out. This is to allow time for refund requests.
- If you cancel an event, all ticket holders will be refunded automatically.
6. Promoting Events
- You can promote other people's events using a unique referral link.
- When someone buys a ticket through your link, you earn a commission set by the organiser.
- You need bank details on file to be a promoter (so we can pay you).
- Don't spam, mislead, or use shady tactics to promote events.
7. Payments
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Bounce charges a platform fee on paid tickets. The exact amount is shown at checkout and on our pricing page.
- Payouts to organisers and promoters are processed after the 14-day holding period.
8. What You Can't Do
Don't use Bounce to:
- Break any laws
- Sell counterfeit or fraudulent tickets
- Scrape, bot, or abuse the platform
- Harass other users
- Attempt to bypass fees, caps, or security measures
- Upload harmful content, malware, or anything dodgy
9. Our Liability
Bounce is a platform. We connect people, but we don't organise events. That means:
- We're not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of any event listed on Bounce.
- We're not liable for losses caused by event cancellations, no-shows, or disputes between buyers and organisers.
- We do our best to keep the platform running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime.
10. Intellectual Property
Everything on Bounce — the design, code, branding, and content — belongs to us. You can't copy, reuse, or redistribute it without permission.
Content you upload (event descriptions, images, etc.) remains yours, but you give us permission to display it on the platform.
11. Changes to These Terms
We might update these terms from time to time. If we make a significant change, we'll let you know. By continuing to use Bounce after changes are made, you're agreeing to the updated terms.
