Buying Tickets
Select your ticket tier and quantity on the event page, then click Secure your tickets. You have 15 minutes to complete checkout — after that, reserved tickets are released.
For paid events, you'll be taken to our payment page to enter your card details. Free events complete instantly. Fees (platform fee + payment processing) are shown at checkout before you pay.
After purchase, your tickets appear in My Tickets with a unique QR code. At the event, show the QR code on your phone to the door staff. Make sure your screen is bright enough for the scanner to read it.
Refunds
Each event has its own refund policy, set by the organiser. Common terms include refunds being available up to 7 days before the event.
Requesting a refund
Go to My Tickets, select your order, and click Request refund. Provide a reason. The event organiser reviews the request and can approve or decline. If approved, the ticket value is refunded to your original payment method. Platform and payment processing fees are not refunded.
Event cancelled
If the event is cancelled by the organiser, you receive a full refund within 5–10 business days. You'll be notified by email.
Promoting Events
As a promoter, you earn 10% commission on ticket sales when people buy through your referral link. Go to Promote in the main navigation.
Getting your link
On any event page (that you don't host), click Promote this event to get your unique referral link. Share it on social media, in messages, or anywhere you like.
Tracking sales
The Promote page has Active and Past Events tabs. For each active promotion you'll see tickets sold, commission earned, and a copyable link. When someone clicks your link and buys within 7 days, the sale is attributed to you. Commission is paid 7 days after the event.
Adding Bank Details
Promoters and hosts need bank details to receive payouts. Go to Profile (avatar dropdown → Profile) and add your account holder name, account number, and sort code.
Details are stored securely and used only for transferring your earnings. You must add bank details before you can request a withdrawal.
Setting Up Your Profile
Before hosting events, create a host profile. Go to Host and click Create Host Profile. Add your brand name and description.
Your public profile shows your brand name, logo, cover image, description, and social links. Attendees see this when they view your events. Click Edit on the Host Dashboard to update your cover, logo, description, and social links (Instagram, X, website). Your profile URL is bounce.live/organiser/[your-slug].
Creating Events
Go to Host → Events and click Create Event. Add a title, description, cover image, date and time, and venue. You can include an online meeting link for virtual events. Tags help people discover your event when searching.
Add ticket tiers (see Ticket Tiers below). Set your refund policy per event — a default is provided but you can customise it. When you're ready, publish. The event appears on the browse page and your organiser profile.
Email Campaigns
Send emails to your followers and ticket buyers. Go to Host → Campaigns.
The Campaigns page has Drafts and Sent tabs. Click New Campaign to create one. Add a subject line and write your content using the rich text editor. Choose recipients (followers and/or ticket buyers for specific events). When ready, send. Recipients receive it from your brand via Bounce. You can duplicate sent campaigns to create new drafts.
Ticket Tiers
When creating an event, add one or more ticket tiers (e.g. Early Bird, General Admission, VIP). For each tier set the name, description, price, quantity, and optional sale start/end dates.
You control capacity and pricing. Free tiers have no fees. For paid tiers, the platform fee (7%) and payment processing fee are added at checkout and paid by the buyer.
Scanning
Use the Scan tab to check in attendees at the door. You must be logged in as a host who owns the event.
Open the Scan page on your phone or tablet. Point the camera at the attendee's QR code. The scanner shows the order details. Select which tickets to check in and click Check In. The scanner will show an error if the ticket is refunded, cancelled, not yet purchased, already checked in, or doesn't belong to your event.
Refunds
When an attendee requests a refund, it appears in the event's Orders page under the Refunds tab with status Pending.
You can approve or decline each request. If you approve, the refund is processed and the attendee receives their ticket value back (fees are not refunded). You can add a note when resolving. Approved refunds can free up tickets if you've enabled that option on the tier.
Payouts
Hosts and promoters receive payouts through Payouts (avatar dropdown). Earnings become available 7 days after your event ends.
Add your bank details in Profile before requesting a withdrawal. When a payout shows as Available, request a withdrawal. Funds are sent to your bank account — typically 1–3 business days.
